Carriers in Asian countries are shifting to a new Internet protocol, but U.S. telcos choose to wait it out.

While U.S.-based telephone companies delay their spending on the next-generation Internet protocol, Asian countries like Japan, South Korea, and China are moving ahead, looking to raise their profits in the process.
