The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) announced the details of the FY05 IPv6 Deployment Field Trial at the end of August.

The IPv6 Deployment Field Trial by the MIC is a three-year project, and this is the last year of the project. In the previous two years, adoption trials have clarified the technical points related to adopting IPv6, and its coexistence with IPv4, in various scenarios, such as local governments, small- and medium-sized enterprises, and homes.
