Allied Telesyn, the trusted end-to-end networking solutions vender, has today announced support for IPv6 with the release of a new device and future products to be introduced over the next few years.

Hardware support will be available both through its new AT 8948 multi-layered switch aimed at the Triple-Play operator and metro Ethernet markets, and within a range of other products to be announced later in the year.
