Chinese and French gov'ts to launch Internet cooperation

Chinese Ministry of Information Industry and French Ministry of Research and New Technologies will beef up cooperation between CNGI (China Next Generation Internet) and FNGI (France Next Generation Internet).

As learned on April 12 from French IPv6 working group for the third Global IPv6 Summit being held in Beijing from April 12 to 14, a memorandum of cooperation on promoting Sino-French collaboration on IPv6 will be signed by Xi Guohua, Chinese deputy Minister of Information Industry in France on April 16.
