The report mentions the possibility of IPv4 address space exhausting by 2005. While the Cluster does not believe that is likely, it should be recognised that a growing percentage of Internet users now reside behind NATs as a result of IPv4 address conservation policies, and that if a single application area such as mobile 3G handsets demanded a few hundred million IP addresses, the IPv4 address spacewould come under significant pressure.
