With 4.3 billion addresses available on the Internet, it might seem, “enough is enough.” That’s almost enough for every person on Earth to have a computer with its own presence on the information superhighway.

But we’re entering a new digital era in which the Internet will grow much faster. With economies booming in the Far East, millions more people will be using the Internet. Even more important, existing users and new ones alike will have an array of devices, aside from computers, that need an address.
