Internet speed record falls to Tokyo University

Both Internet land speed records have fallen. A team from the University of Tokyo has set a new mark for long-distance data transfer using the IPv4 protocol while researchers at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and CERN in Switzerland broke the record for IPv6 transfers.
