Ministry Of Energy, Water & Communications To Adopt IPv6 By April

Malaysia is scheduled to migrate to the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) by next month, with the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications taking the lead to adopt the technology.

Director of National Advanced IPv6 Centre (NAV6), Universiti Sains Malaysia Associate Professor Dr Sureswaran Ramadas said the IPv6 network would place Malaysia in a position of strength in terms of the new Internet technology.
