Since 2002, IPv6 Development and Deployment have been major items in the nation’s 6 year e-Taiwan Project. The government expects all domestic networks will support both IPv6 and IPv4 by 2008, and thereby, creating a good infrastructure for new applications and equipments.

IPv6 Summit in Taiwan 2004 features the recent IPv6 industrialization progress around the world and particularly, the status in Taiwan.

As the No.1 end-user communication product supplier on the planet with production value of 6.618 billion US dollars (NTD218.4 billion) in 2003, Taiwanese manufacturers are empowered and ready to support the next generation Internet.
