As with other new technologies emerge, there is always the “chicken and egg” situation when it comes to the commercial aspect of its implementation. The same goes to the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).

Presently, most countries still do not have a business case that warrant the urgency in implementing it. Nonetheless, countries such as Japan and Korea are already committing a lot of research and development into the evolution of IPv6.
